An aluminum-metalized film is heat-transferred to a textured washi (Japanese paper). Then, a matt black pigment is applied to the material, leaving the foil pattern bare. As you can see, this product is painstakingly made. The matt feeling of the washi and the shine of the aluminum-metalized film are combined to create a unique aesthetic.
